Well the warm weather looks like it is finally here and we have begun our busy season. We have three times more events scheduled for this year than we did last year, and we have accepted even more new mermaids to our pod.
We are happy to welcome Leviatha, Iasis, Mykie, Teresa and Jenny! And there are even more that are wanting to join so we hope to have them with us soon.
A couple of weeks ago we appeared at Infinite Possibilities in Ogden. It was a lovely event and we had a great time. It was Leviatha's first appearance with us, and I am happy to say she fits right in with us.
Over Memorial Day weekend we appeared at REACH Through Time in Toole. REACH is a group that goes around teaching lessons to schools about things that may not necessarily be in the budget for the schools to teach, and this was a fundraiser for them.
This was our first chance to break out our big pool and use our full set up and I have to say, I was pretty happy with how it all looked.
At this event we had The Sandy Sirens and some of the REACH Mermaids with us, and this is where we met Jenny and Teresa.
We will be teaming up with Sandy Sirens for even more events this summer, and we are looking forward to it.
It is so nice to see the Mermaid community in Utah finally coming together and getting along. There are far more possibilities when we all pull together.
