Last weekend we appeared at a new event in Salt Lake called Wizarding Dayz which is a Harry Potter themed event. This was the first year for this event, but it seemed to be very well attended for it's inaugural event.
Due to the fact that there were several groups of mermaids appearing, they decided to have us appear as Sirens and put us in the "Dark Arts Area". We were very excited to embrace our dark sides for this!
Princess Pearl turned herself into an Angler Fish, which was really unique and looked fantastic!
Mermaid Rhapsody came as a Blind Siren, who seemed to be very hungry for a tasty little morsel, and I let my scaly side show. Our job was to confuse the wizards that were hunting for the "Most Wanted" and I think we did a fantastic job at it!
We also had a little help some our friends at REACH and Sandy Sirens. They came and helped out when we needed them and they were fantastic sports about it. Thank you to Zoe and Perry for all of your help. It was a huge help and it makes me feel all warm and tingly to know that our community can really pull together and help each other out
